The Live Grey Ambassador Program is a collective of grey individuals dedicated to spreading the Live in the Grey message and helping others to blend their personal and professional lives. This series offers some of the wisdom they have to share as they progress on their journey.

How did you find your grey (or arrive at where you are in your grey journey today)?

Over the past 7 years I’ve immersed myself in the research and content production side of the NYC art world. I’ve realized that my grey is broader than creating specifically museum content, so I am exploring avenues to develop content in other contexts. Right now I’m working on adapting my grey to fit my future professional goals.

How do you translate your intentions into actions?

I’m a great fan of to-do lists that not only list what needs to be done, but also how to do it and potential collaborators for each step. I graphically map out priorities and timelines within larger tasks, which helps me to complete them more efficiently than making forgettable mental notes.

What’s the best piece of advice you have for someone beginning their grey journey?

Be honest with yourself. It’s a great jumpstart for positive change! Brainstorm, write down your thoughts, and tell others so that they can circle back by asking you questions that generate new thoughts and help you refine your ideas.

What principle or goal is guiding you in your life right now?

Be honest with yourself and work towards your goals.
