The Live Grey Ambassador Program is a collective of grey individuals dedicated to spreading the Live in the Grey message and helping others to blend their personal and professional lives. This series offers some of the wisdom they have to share as they progress on their journey.

How did you find your grey (or arrive at where you are in your grey journey today)?

I left the Army in September of 2012 in pursuit of something different and to come back to NYC where I grew up and had family. I interviewed with 50+ companies and none of them truly inspired me. I then took a three day seminar called the Landmark Forum and got Freedom and Peace of mind around career. A couple weeks later, I accepted a job with a beer distributor and was glad I’d be working in an area I’m passionate about, craft beer culture. I am now in a position where I no longer see myself working for an employer but rather creating multiple businesses.

What are three things you try to do everyday?

Meditate. Listen to music. Run.

How do you translate your intentions into actions?

For me, it comes down to being my word. And having my word live in my calendar. Also, not being afraid to ask for support — I can’t do it alone.

What part of your morning ritual would you recommend to others?

Having a good solid breakfast. Coffee helps too.

What principle or goal is guiding you in your life right now?

I’m committed to the transformation of the military-to-civilian transition process.

Neil currently sits on the LITG Leadership Board.
